Donaire Fights - Boxing Events

Its official! Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire will be defending his title, the World Bantamweight Championship belt against the undefeated 2-division world champion Argentinian Omar "El Huracán" Narvaez on Saturday in October 22, 2011 at the Madison Square Garden in New York City. Top Rank Promotions will be the guys that will be promoting this fight on October and they even announced a ticket sale of the Donaire vs. Narvaez fight on Thursday, September 15, at Noon ET. Ticket price for this boxing event ranges from $200, $100, $50 and $25.

This is the U.S. debut of the two-time Olympian Narvaez of Cordoba, Argentina, who is known to have an impressive professional boxing record of 35-0-2 with 23 KOs.

In a news conference today, Donaire announced that he will be using a pink boxing gloves during this title defense, not because it's his favorite color :) , but because he is supporting the anti-breast cancer campaign which the color signifies.
